Tuesday (Knitting) Tip: Tidying Loose Ends

I don't know about you but I often have a slightly less than square corner at each end of my knitting, where the starting and ending tails are tied in a knot and woven in. I have always wished I could make those corners look less stretched out and lumpy...and now I can!

The other day I was watching a youtube video to learn a new knitting technique and I saw the most amazing, simple trick. The woman knitting used both her working yarn and her tail-end together for a few stitches in the second row. This brought the tail away from the edge, leaving a nice round corner.

That's one good lookin' corner!
