Chalkboard Labels
Here's a cute way of organizing your pantry:
The project idea and templates came from Gayla Trail's book You Grow Girl.
All you really need are some gloves, a can of chalkboard spray paint, paper and tape for templates and some old jars!
I like having labels because I can easily see what's missing in the pantry even if a jar is emptied without being put back on the grocery list.
I also add measurement markings to the sides of the jars that hold things I use in specific quantities for one or two recipes only. This way, if I know I'll be making 2 pans of veggie pate in the next few weeks, I can verify that I have 2 x 1/2cup of nutritional yeast with just a quick glance at the jar.
