I just finished reading On Good Land, by Michael Ableman, a "recognized practitioner of sustainable agriculture and proponent of regional food systems."
This is a beautiful book, full of delicious photos, thoughtful reflections on food production and our connection to nature, and the interesting story of a farm that came to be surrounded by urban development in California. This is a super encouraging read to remind you of why you love farming/gardening/caring about sustainable food systems.
Has anyone read any of his other books?
